INFOBAE – En la noche de este martes se transmitirá la entrega de los Premios Globo de Oro 2023, – Golden Globes en inglés- , en el mítico The Beverly Hilton de Los Ángeles, con la presentación exclusiva del comediante Jerrod Carmichael como anfitrión.

El espectáculo de este año podría ser decisivo para la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood, la organización que organiza la premiación. Una investigación de Los Angeles Times a principios de 2021 descubrió que el grupo no tenía miembros afroamericanos, una revelación agravada por otras acusaciones de irregularidades éticas. Muchas estrellas y estudios dijeron que boicotearían el programa. Tom Cruise devolvió sus tres Globos.

Con las estrellas rechazando los Globos de Oro, NBC canceló el año pasado la transmisión que habría tenido lugar en enero. En cambio, la gala se realizó en el Beverly Hilton sin la asistencia de ningún nominado, mientras que los ganadores fueron anunciados en Twitter.

Así es que después de que el escándalo y el boicot hundieron a la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood y sacaron de la televisión la transmisión de los Globos de Oro durante un año, finalmente en la noche de este martes se celebrará la entrega de premios a las mejores series y películas de cine y televisión. La ceremonia será transmitida por la señal TNT (Personal Flow y DirecTV).

Este año la Argentina estará representada por la película de Santiago Mitre protagonizada por Ricardo Darín y Peter Lanzani, Argentina, 1985.
